Meet Taz

A registered Wellness Counsellor and Yoga Teacher, dedicated to helping women heal, grow, and reconnect with their authentic selves. With a background in Humanities and an Honours degree in Psychology, I chose to take a more holistic path—integrating mind, body, and spirit—by becoming a wellness counsellor.

My own healing journey began early in life. Childhood, adolescence, and even young adulthood were marked by deep emotional challenges that made simply existing feel overwhelming. But I refused to give up. Through therapy, consistent yoga practice, self-work, and the support of others, I gradually carved out a path toward wholeness.

Today, I’m passionate about helping women expedite their own healing journeys—supporting them as they process trauma, stabilize the mind, revitalize the body, and reclaim their inner power. My work is rooted in empathy, connection, and the belief that true transformation is always possible.

Counselling, to me, is a weaving process.

Together, we gather the loose strands of your life—the fragmented experiences, tangled thoughts, emotional knots—and gently begin to untangle and reweave them into a coherent tapestry of meaning.

This process is not about quick fixes or pretending to have all the answers. It’s about holding space, offering guidance, and walking beside you as you reconnect with your inner wisdom.

Our lives are shaped by complex relationships:
The relationship between body and mind, self and space, others and environment. Most importantly, there’s the often-neglected relationship with the self—the one that sits at the core of our being, like the central thread in a loom.

Over time, these threads can become messy, frayed, or knotted. My role as your therapist is to support you in gently sorting through these entanglements, creating clarity, restoring balance, and rediscovering flow. We turn pain into purpose, mess into meaning, and what once felt broken into something beautiful and whole.

From this space of trust, self-awareness, and connection, you’ll begin to feel more at home in yourself.

  • Healing with Taz mental health services is for women who are seeking holistic online mental health support, and a means to improve their health and their life in a sustainable way.

  • At Healing with Tas, the counselling journey—also known as the healing process—is typically facilitated over 6 to 8 online sessions, each lasting 55 minutes. This process is personalized for every client, co-created with care to meet your unique needs, challenges, and goals.

    No two journeys are the same. Together, we’ll craft a therapeutic experience that supports your healing in the most meaningful way for you.

    Your sessions may include, but are not limited to:

    • Talk-based therapy

    • Trauma-informed counselling

    • Self-exploration exercises and guided worksheets

    • Movement practices, including yoga or gentle exercise

    • Meditation and breathwork

    • Lifestyle and wellness coaching

    This integrated approach draws on mind-body tools to help you reconnect, release, and rebuild. Whether you're processing trauma, navigating change, or simply seeking clarity, we move at your pace—with empathy, presence, and purpose.

  • Yes. At Healing with Tas, I believe that healing should be accessible, and I offer flexible payment options to support your journey:

    1. Per Session – $80

    Pay as you go. Ideal for those who prefer flexibility or are exploring therapy for the first time.

    2. Healing Package – $600

    A discounted rate for a full 8-session process. This package is ideal for those committed to deeper, ongoing work.

    3. Sponsorship Option

    After completing their journey, some clients choose to sponsor 50% of another woman’s healing process (8 sessions).


    This beautiful act of giving allows someone in need to access support at a reduced rate.

    Both the sponsor and recipient remain completely anonymous, preserving privacy and dignity while creating a quiet ripple of compassion and empowerment within our healing community.

  • The healing process is not always easy, neat, or beautiful. It can be messy, uncomfortable, and at times, deeply confronting. But it is also incredibly rewarding, empowering, and life-changing.

    Healing invites you to explore parts of yourself that may have been ignored, buried, or silenced. And while this journey can feel overwhelming, you won’t have to walk it alone.

    In our work together, you’ll have access to a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free space—where all parts of you are welcome. You’ll be supported through the discomfort, held through the pain, and encouraged as you step into deeper self-awareness, resilience, and transformation.

  • Creating a supportive environment for your healing process is just as important as showing up.

    While life can be unpredictable and not every session will be perfectly quiet or undisturbed, setting up a dedicated space—even in small ways—can make a significant difference in how you experience therapy.

    Whenever possible, try to have:

    • 🧘‍♀️ A private, quiet space
      Somewhere you feel safe, relaxed, and unlikely to be interrupted. Your healing deserves your full presence. A home setting is ideal—much different from a public space like a café.

    • 📶 A stable internet connection
      This helps us stay connected and in flow without unnecessary interruptions.

    • 💻 A device (phone, tablet, or laptop)
      Choose what’s most comfortable for you. Headphones are helpful too, especially for privacy or reducing background noise.

    • 🕯️ Optional: A comfort item or ritual
      A cup of tea, a candle, a blanket—anything that helps you feel grounded and supported during our time together.

    Remember, the most important thing is simply showing up as you are. We’ll work with what you have and adjust as needed. Healing doesn’t require perfection—only presence.

  • At Healing with Tas, your privacy and trust are sacred. I am deeply committed to creating a safe and confidential space where you can express yourself freely, without fear of judgment or exposure.

    All sessions are held in strict confidence, in line with ethical standards and professional guidelines for registered wellness counsellors. What you share in our sessions stays between us.

    Here’s what you can expect:

    • Confidentiality is protected:
      Your personal information and anything you share during sessions is kept private and secure.

    • Secure online sessions:
      All online counselling sessions are conducted via trusted, secure video platforms to protect your privacy. I encourage you to join sessions from a quiet, private space where you feel safe and comfortable.

    • Record-keeping:
      Any notes or documentation are stored securely and used solely for therapeutic purposes. Your data will never be shared without your written consent.

    • Exceptions to confidentiality:
      As with all professional counselling services, there are rare exceptions where I may be legally or ethically required to break confidentiality. These include:

      • If there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others

      • If there is disclosure of abuse involving a minor, elderly person, or vulnerable adult

      • If records are subpoenaed by a court of law

    Should any of these situations arise, I will always do my best to discuss it with you first, unless there is an urgent safety concern.
